This weekend, rather unbelievably, we will be marking two months since we moved to Mallorca – in some ways surprisingly long, in others surprisingly short. For we have already discovered so much about our incredible home city of Palma de Mallorca – from its winding old town streets, to its hidden tapas gems, nearby sandy beaches and even a cinema showing films in English – that it is hard to accept that we have only been here a mere matter of weeks. But despite many an exploration made, there is still much left to discover, as our recent gastronomic sojourn in the Santa Catalina market demonstrated.

If you needed another clue that craft-beer-pretender Shock Top is the baby of Big Beer, look no further than these “viral” videos from Canadian ad agency Anomaly that rolled onto Shock Top’s YouTube channel last week. They are just what you might expect from a large corporation (A-B InBev) trying to act like one of the cool kids.

Beef Pot Roast Recipe

In the past week, I have been asked how do I used a crock pot and what recipes do I use. Today, I would like to share a video I came across from youtube in creating Beef Pot Roast. I enjoy using the crock pot because it is simple, cooks delicious food slowly, and easy to clean. Recently, I have cooked lamb curry, beef curry, and chicken tikka masala.
